We’ve just wrapped up an inspiring visit to ICFO – The Institute of Photonic Sciences in Barcelona. As one of Europe’s leading research centres in photonics, ICFO plays a key role in advancing light-based science and technologies, with strong impact across fields like biophotonics, quantum optics, and imaging.
During our visit, we had the chance to explore ICFO’s cutting-edge labs and connect with researchers—and we were also excited to host a live exhibit for the ICFOnian community.
What we brought to the floor:
🔹 PHI – Plug-and-play adaptive optics for microscopes. Mounted directly on the camera port. Live demo on a fluorescence widefield microscope—AO made simple.
🔹 PHINDEN – Sensorless AO software. Image-based aberration correction with a clean GUI. No wavefront sensor. Just a few clicks.
🔹 Delta 7 (10 & 20 mm) – Refractive wavefront modulators. Compact. Factory-calibrated. No hysteresis. True open-loop performance. Built to integrate fast.
A big thank you to ICFO for hosting us and to everyone who joined the discussions and demos. We’re looking forward to exploring future collaboration opportunities together!
